The mission of Landry Consulting is to provide quality construction codes consulting, primarily from a lifesafety perspective. This company will not compromise these values or it's integrity for the sake of " Getting the Work ". There are enough developers and safety minded individuals with integrity out there, they just want a level playing field on which to play.
We are dedicated to promote the application of all construction codes to the benefit of all parties involved. This requires an objective review of all codes and regulations in the pursuit of an outcome that is cost effective to the client without compromising the lifesafety of the end user or the integrity of our values.
From the standpoint of code promulgation, we will pursue efforts to create a single national construction code that can be easily understood by the private and public sectors in an effort to minimize arbitrary enforcement throughout the nation. This can and must be accomplished without diluting safety features built into these codes. This single national code must involve both prescriptive and performance based components.
The end result of this philosophy will result in uniformity and a more highly trained and certified inspection force, standardization of design features and a much safer environment for all of use to live, work and play.
